Toward A New Psychology of Interpersonal Relationships
This audio program includes ALL PRESENTATIONS available from the 2012 IPNB conference. The focus of this conference is on integration of essential implicit communications in therapeutic and other deeply experienced relationships. These include recent interpersonal neurobiological models that describe the right brain/mind/body systems, and how this impacts communications, as well as newer bodily-based trauma models that focus on the enduring impact of stress on the central and autonomic nervous systems.Also learn how early attachment disturbances can lead to a wide variety of adult relational problems, especially when combined with unresolved trauma. The ability to form and sustain reciprocal interpersonal relationships is notably disrupted in individuals who experience early traumas in attachment patterns.
